VOCATION AND FORMATION

Seminary Formation

Seminaries in Tanzania provide both general education and formation. All seminaries are known to provide the best education possible. For example, in seminaries, teachers follow up their students to make sure they do the assignments given. The teachers also provide personal assistance as needed, to make sure the students achieve their greatest potential for future service to the church.

In 1985 Geita Diocese opened Sengerema Seminary: to provide effective education and formation. With the limited resources, the school is still doing very well academically. Currently, students are alternating classrooms due to lack of classrooms. We need more rooms to handle the number of students who want to join the Seminary. We also lack school supplies like science laboratory. Our graduate students now move to other schools for high school. We would like to expand our school buildings to include a high school. With your good support we hope to be able to do this.
